Sardonic commentary

kk, a post en rapido tonight, because I'm sleepy. And it's fun and interactive! Wheeeeeee!
Alright, I want you all to tell me your favorite part of the Greco-Persian War. Whosever response I like the best will be included in my research paper for Ancient History class. Not even joking. Those of you who don't submit can help me choose, but I'd love to get lots of fun and exciting comments to pick through. So tell me what you think of those crazy ancient Greeksters and their feud with that nutty Darius and his son Xerxes!

Biggest desire at this moment: to really kick butt at video games. I feel like a sell-out, but it's true. It's a lacking part of my childhood that I've never really regretted until right now.

You just have to love the Battle of Salamis, partly due to the fact that it marked the turning point for the Greeks in the Greco-Persian Wars, but more so because the entire battle must have been somewhat like watching a Monty Python movie. It was just one silly thing after another. I picture Xerxes perched on his throne up there on the slopes of Mount Aegaleus watching the debacle, slapping his forhead and uttering many a Homer Simpson-esque "Doh!" Check it out - it's quite entertaining.

Since mine is the first comment, I think I should win.

(Do I win something extra for posting my comment twice? I got an error the first time, I swear)!

Hmmm, well I think you should borrow Age of Empires II off me and recreate the aforementioned battle and show it off to your prof and see how impressed they are, not only by your interactivityness, but also by your mad battle skillz @ videogames.

Whoa, you should totally get mad points for combining both issues in one comment, and for combining them hilariously. If Bethany doesn't give them to you, I will. Haha, now I wish I was (were?) in History so I could do just that, and feel that my playing video games somehow contributed to my higher education. Amazing.
